I am pleased to announce that we have hired Netali Goldman as our next BSECC Director. Netali comes to us from Greenzaid ECC where she is a teacher in the 2s classroom. She has over sixteen years’ experience in the early childhood field and holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. Netali will finish out her school year and join us mid-June. Please see attached for an introduction letter from Netali.
We would like to thank Elaine, Heather and Meredith for all the work they have done this year to keep the ECC running smoothly. Thank you to our Search Committee Chair, Phyllicia Tanenbaum, for the time and effort she put into this search. She made the process run smoothly and took much of the burden off the rest of the committee. Thanks to Thalia Baumgarten, our ECC Board Committee Chair and Adam Broms who rounded out the committee.
I look forward to welcoming Netali aboard in June. Please join me in extending her a warm welcome.
Sincerely,
Rachel Zutshi Executive Director
Message from Netali Goldman
To the Wonderful Beth Sholom Community,
Hello! My name is Netali Goldman and I am thrilled to receive the opportunity to serve as the new Director of Beth Sholom Early Childhood Center. I have been in the early childhood field for the last sixteen years and it has been some of the most rewarding years of my life. Over the course of my career, I have worn many hats including shadowing a child with special needs, teaching children of all ages, and managing one of the front offices of a large, Jewish private school in the area. I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University, and utilized those skills when I became the summer program coordinator for a summer camp last year.
When not working, I love to spend time with my husband (Bryan) and our two children, Nili and Kai, as well as our four cats. We are lucky enough to have in-laws and grandparents nearby so we love getting together with the family whenever we can. During the summer, we love to spend our time in Rehoboth Beach soaking up the sun, walking along Rehoboth Avenue and eating some ice cream, or enjoying the weather while swinging on the swing in the backyard. However, we can often be found at home playing games, going to the park, or watching Disney movies together.
I am excited to begin my new role as Director and join the lovely community of Beth Sholom. I hope to get to know you all on a more personal level and I encourage you to reach out for a chat. My door will be open and the coffee hot.
See you soon! All the best, Netali Goldman
