Join us in celebrating Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel Independence Day) in the Beth Sholom parking lot! Amazing Israeli activities planned. Sponsorship opportunities available

Yom Ha'Atzmaut begins Wednesday night, and we are excited that the community is coming together to celebrate Israel's independence and its 71st birthday.  Following is information, along with the schedule, for this special holiday.

Wednesday:       

7:30 PM *AT BERMAN* Israel's Memorial Day Ceremony - Join Tomer Hilel, Federation Shaliach, on May 7th for the Israeli Embassy Memorial Day Ceremony at the Berman Hebrew Academy. Doors open at 6:30pm, General Ceremony starts at 7:30pm. Photo ID required. Avoid coming with handbags.                                                     

7:55 PM *AT BETH SHOLOM*  Mincha followed by short transition into Yom Ha'Atzmaut and the special Yom Ha'Atzmaut Maariv davening.

 

Thursday:                                                                                                                                  6:15 AM Shacharit (including Hallel) after Shacharit Israeli Breakfast will be served.

                - Special presentations and a performance by Beth Sholom Kids Choir
