Ma'ot Chitim:
In this time of enormous uncertainty, there are some certainties (i) many families will not have the funds necessary to purchase the goods they need for Pesach and (ii) our community will help those in need. Therefore, we are asking for your donation to Beth Sholom’s annual Ma’ot Chitim (wheat fund) to fulfill the mitzvah and ancient tradition associated with this holiday while helping families in need including those experiencing economic and health problems resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak. To identify those in the community who need our help, we will be working with Beth Sholom’s rabbis, Yad Yehuda, and the JSSA.

Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund” and write “
Ma’ot Chitim” in the memo line. The office has made arrangements to receive incoming mail.

The pre-Pesach contribution drives ends April 3. However, we will accept contributions to continue to help those in need through the end of the holiday.
