MEMBERSHIP DUES INFORMATION

OPTION A: Regular Membership Plans

Membership Plans do not include donations to our building fund (see information below). Please select the best plan for you.

Dues Adjustment Request (Please submit your request for modified payment, keeping in mind that all payments can be paid in installments or paid at a later date) Beth Sholom depends on membership dues to support our daily operating expenses. We value all contributions and we never turn someone away for lack of funds or inability to pay the full membership rate. All communications about reduced payments will be kept confidential.

OPTION B: Annual Giving Membership Plans

Show your commitment by participating in one of our comprehensive annual giving plans. Plans include membership.

The Annual Giving Plan (AGP) is Beth Sholom’s vehicle to pledge one sum in the beginning of the year and then allocate the pledge as you see fit throughout the year. The pledge is similar to a flex account which can be used at your convenience. Beth Sholom Congregation depends on those contributing to the Annual Giving Plan to keep our community financially stable and thriving. Each year, dues cover only 40% of our community costs. This gap, common to most synagogues, can be filled by your generous gifts. We are deeply grateful to our many AGP families for committing to being pillars which support our shul.

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for Beth Sholom membership, the applicant must be Jewish according to Jewish Law.

BUILDING FUND

The Beth Sholom building is our collective spiritual home. It is the place where we daven, study, celebrate during good times, and support each other during difficult times. We therefore have a $4,000 building fund pledge per household ($2000 for individual members) so that we can collectively take care of our spiritual home. The building fund is used to help pay down the building loan and support ongoing maintenance of the building. The pledge could either be paid at once or over 5 years. If you need a different payment plan, please indicate this below and we will be in touch.
