Chodesh Tov! With the new month of Iyyar beginning today/tomorrow, our thoughts turn to Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha'atzmaut this week (taking place on Tuesday night/Wednesday and Wednesday night/Thursdsay). Please see below for the schedule for this week and beyond.
Some Highlights:
1. Tuesday 4/13 @ 8:15 PM:Shtisel Explained - Season 3: Topic “Truth and Lies in Shtisel” We will explore all the examples of lying in Shtisel and try to figure out if they are just acting in an unethical manner or is there something about the halachic and theological culture of the Shtisel family that could explain all the lying? We will also look at some smaller topics that come in the first two episodes that don’t merit a session on their own. The class will intersperse clips from the show into the text learning.
