Daily Schedule Emails

Dear Friends,

This past week has been very painful for America in the wake of the horrific murder of George Floyd and the subsequent protests that we are seeing in cities all over America. The final words of George Floyd ("I can't breathe") are ringing in our ears as we contemplate the deep pain of his family and community. We have been reaching out to local African American pastors and expressing our sympathy as their communities are going through challenging times. We have also been pained to see some of the (mostly peaceful) protests turn violent and destroy civilian businesses, police cars and even (Jewish and non-Jewish) houses of worship. 

We recommit ourselves to working on healing any divide between the Jewish and African American communities and we pray for love and unity among the people of our wonderful nation.
