Bar and Bat Mitzvah at Beth Sholom

Having a Bar or Bat Mitzvah at Beth Sholom? Be sure to fill out the informational form 12-18 months in advance so we can set up an initial meeting with our clergy. Please email rabbanitfruchter@bethsholom.org with any questions you may have. May Hashem grant your family many years of naches, blessings, and health. We look forward to coming together as as a community to celebrate this important transformational moment. Check out full handbook here

Year of B'nai Mitzvah Cohort

We are thrilled to run a year-long course of study for all of the boys and girls & their parents with our clergy. A Bar or Bat Mitzvah is just a beginning to a vibrant Jewish life, so regardless of whether or not you turn 12 (girls!) or 13(boys!) at the beginning or the end of the year, we encourage your child to join us for the full set of sessions. Sessions will run from early September to Chanukah. At the beginning of the year, the kids will work on a communal mosaic and the endwill culminate in a Chanukah siyyum. Please contact rabbanitfruchter@bethsholom.org to enroll your child in the program.
