Bereavement and Loss

In the event of the death of a member, volunteers from the shul are available to assist you with the Tahara and Shomrim

Bringing Books of Comfort (BBC) was designed by two BSTT parents, with a background in education, social work and hospice care, to help parents begin a dialogue with their children about dealing with death and grieving. BBC created backpacks filled with carefully chosen books about death, as well as other useful materials, that are personally delivered to families experiencing a death in the family. If you would like to know more about this program available at our shul, please contact Gilly Cannon gilly@bringingbooksofcomfort.org
