Community Events

This is an invitation for female members of the synagogue to join us at our festive annual performance on Monday, June 2.  This year, the theme of the performance is "Yachad - Together," a declaration of Jewish unity that will resound ever more loudly with your congregants' attendance.

The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Hebrew Academy's Sylvia S. Ely Auditorium, at 13300 Arctic Avenue in Rockville.  Tickets are $10 for general admission and $8 for students and seniors, and may be purchased at the door or at the Hebrew Academy front desk.  A portion of the proceeds will go to tzedakah.  Please note that the performance is for women only.

A beautiful play "The Blessings of a Broken Heart" based on the award winning book by Sherri Mandell and adapted and directed by Todd Salovey will be performed one day only in the greater Washington area on June 25th at the JCC Theater.

The play tells the story of Koby Mandell, a young Israeli boy who was murdered, and all proceeds go to support Camp Koby, a therapeutic healing program for children who have lost an immediate family member to terror attacks in Israel.

Please support this incredible effort by attending the play on June 25th -click here for details
