As many of your have already heard, the Dunkin' Donuts in the Cabin John Center (along with the Dunkin' Donuts in the Metro Pike Center), will no longer be under supervision of the Vaad effective February 21, 2007

Jim Willard, the franchisee, has been advised by Dunkin' Brands that these stores must adhere to the terms of the franchise agreement, requiring that all menu items be offered, including those with meat ingredients.   It is possible that if enough consumers contact Dunkin' Brands, they may agree to allow him an exemption from the requirement.    The Dunkin' Brands "Consumer Care" number is 800-859-5339.  You can call and give a brief explanation of the situation, letting them know that it is important to you that our local Dunkin' Donuts remain kosher.   The Twinbrook, JCC, and Darnestown locations will continue to be kosher under supervision of the Vaad, at least for now.
